I started doing pilates in January of 2006. I have been working with a wonderful instructor who has also become a dear friend--Cathie Caraker. So many of my neck, back and feet issues have been resolved as a result of the work I have done with her. I know that the physical ease of this pregnancy would not have been possible just a couple of years ago, and for that I continue to be so appreciative and grateful. I hope that my physical wellness will also help during the labor, birth and recovery. Cathie took these photos of me at our last session...

So Much Love...
We were showered today with so much love, good wishes and darn cute stuff for the little one.
Justin's mom was in town for a long weekend to celebrate her birthday with us, as well as the shower. My mom arrived at the end of March for a long stay and here the three of us are...

Here are a few of our nearest and dearest...friends in the Bay Area, and Sandee (my step-mom) came up for the day from S. California...
So generous all have been at this time and always--sharing stories, lives and heart. My cup is so very full.

Spring has sprung
We had a tea today to celebrate Marianne! She and brother Adam are getting married later this year. She is a sweetheart and a lovely person, and we had such fun honoring her and the wedding that is in the works. There is nothing like pink, a girly tearoom and delicious food to kick off a bridal party. Here she is with me and my mom, Mikie...

Belly Shot-week 30
She said: Well, here I am in all my prego belly glory. These last few weeks have seen a lot of changes. I even got offered a seat on BART, so I guess I look pregnant and not just like I over-indulged on the Christmas cookies! I feel really good, and have noticed how winded I get now just climbing a few flights of stairs. I attribute that to the reduced (and squished) lung capacity as I still feel strong. I'm still sleeping really well, and am so thankful for that. I caught a cold and that put me out of commission for a few days. What a luxury (and how sensible) it was to stay home from work and just recover rather than push through the symptoms. I think I may try to do a weekly photo from here on out... I'll certainly try!
